Who we are
oral-grade ("we") is an academic-integrity tool for educators. This policy explains how we handle data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the GDPR where applicable.
What we collect
Assignment prompts and student submissions you paste; viva answers students provide; your email if you join the waitlist or subscribe; and basic anonymous usage analytics. We use an anonymous session cookie to associate vivas with your browser.
How we use it
To generate viva questions, score answers, and show you reports. Submission and answer text may be sent to a large-language-model provider to generate questions and scores. We do not sell personal data.
Student data
You are the data fiduciary for the student work you upload; oral-grade processes it on your behalf. Do not upload more personal data than necessary. We retain viva data so you can revisit reports; you can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your data by emailing privacy@oralgrade.aiskillhub.info. We respond within statutory timelines.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
